Basque Coast, surfing, Guéthary and Bidart
The French Basque Country’s shore is only 35kms long, it runs from Hendaye, at the south end, to Anglet/Boucau, at the northern one.
The neighboring villages of Bidart and Biarritz, up north, and Guéthary and St. Jean de Luz, down south, offer a great variety of first class surfing spots.
From South to North…
Going south you’ll find rocky spots such as, Erromardi, Lafitenia’s classic wave, Tamaris, Cenitz, Les Alcyons and Parlementia’s awesome break, in between Guéthary and Bidart.
Then, on a northern course, it’s beach break (sandy spots) time:
L´Uhabia, Bidart Centre, Erreteguia, les 100 Marches, Pavillon Royal…

Spots, spots, spots... and the boards?
Surf sand spots, surf rock spots, surf spots everywhere: the Basque Coast is the cradle of European surfing, and all surfers of all conditions and all levels have their place. And here it is that our surf shop is a meeting place and a landmark where you can get information, chat and find the necessary equipment: to rent a surfboard, rent a body board, rent fins, rent a wetsuit… Come and see!
